Data personally related to customers and their contacts that we store in our servers includes:
When a paying customer in the "publicity" role creates an account with the intention of offering promotional media for consumption, we ask for information such as name, company, email address, billing address, credit card information and time zone. Haulix uses collected information to offer our services, billing, authentication and authorization. We do not store credit card information in our servers. Credit card information is stored in our payment gateway service and used to charge monthly subscription fees. The company address and email address are used in our payroll system for the purpose of sending monthly invoices. Customers can access their company profile and update address and credit card information any time from within their private Haulix account. The use of personal data is limited to charging subscription payments and sending invoices. We do not share or allow access to personal data with any other third-party services.
A customer in the "media contact" role or someone who will consume promotional media through the system, will get asked for their name, email address, phone number, country and website address. We collect this information on behalf of our paying customers so that they can send out email invitations for free promotional music. Media contact information is not shared with any third party services. Music files streamed or downloaded through Haulix may or may not contain small bits of data that link to a media contact. That data (watermarks) is strictly limited to be used in conjunction with other personal data listed above to trace leaked music files back to the respective media contact. Media contacts have the right to unsubscribe from our customers’ contact lists any time, either by clicking an unsubscribe link in an email invitation or using their Haulix profile screen’s unsubscribe feature. All “publicity” and “media contact” roles have the right to contact us directly at any time to request a copy of the data we have stored relating to them, or to request that we delete their data and remove them from our system.

Haulix, LLC has further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning human resources data transferred from the EU and Switzerland in the context of the employment relationship.
EU residents have the right to access personal data about them and to request the correction, amendment, removal and/or limitation of the use and disclosure of their personal data processed by Haulix. Haulix is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) with respect to its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. If you live in the EU, any complaints or questions regarding Haulix’s compliance with the Privacy Shield Program should be sent to the email or postal address provided herein. Haulix will respond within 60 days. If you do not receive acknowledgment of your complaint within 60 days, or if you cannot resolve your complaint directly with Haulix, you may contact the International Centre for Dispute Resolution to pursue binding arbitration. Haulix may be required to disclose personal data in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requests.
